Despite a sluggish economy, corporations are pooling their resources together like never before to tackle important social and environmental issues. From bullying to redesigning packaging to make a difference, there was no shortage of bold moves by brands to address societal needs this last year.

In this session, you will learn about key trends that are important to consumers, and the innovative marketing campaigns that have been developed by companies and their nonprofit partners to address these important issues. As marketers and agencies who advise clients on creative ways to build brand loyalty, these trends reflect what’s hot now and what companies are doing to build brand trust.

Networking begins at 11:30 am and lunch and the speaker will start at noon.

Tracey L. Beeker currently serves as chief strategist at BE MORE Consultants, a marketing and communications agency specializing in social marketing and strategic philanthropy. Beeker previously held the position of account director at Barkley, a full-service advertising agency where she was responsible for corporate communications and cause branding for the SONIC Drive-In account and Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
